I made one little boy happy this morning who rides my train daily with his mama! As they approached my train I opened my window and gave him this little stuffed duck! This is the second stuffed animal I have given away to some favorite riders!

It is my Blondie’s way of pay it forward to brighten someone’s day!

At the Fred Meyer’s where I have shopped for years, I have made a connection with a checker in the apparel department! This lady is so very sweet and kind and you can tell she likes people! She has touched me with her kindness and I am making this bear for her!

I will post pics when the bear is done! I am loving the black nose and mouth against the green color of the bear! Awesomeness!

She has touched my life, so I am returning the favor to make her day!

Blanket Happiness…..

Now I can work on my husband’s blanket, it is getting longer and longer! Since I fell today I ended up with a headache so working on this blanket is good because I don’t have to count stitches and concentrate much!

Off I go to watch a movie or some of my favorite tv shows!

A good friend of my husband’s shared her family secret recipe with us and we were so honored for her to do that. I made it today and oh my gosh it is fantastic!

I am going to honor her by not sharing this particular one! I will make it as gifts for people or for my family!

It is so nice to have some recipes that are kept secret! I have my grandmother’s barbecue sauce recipe which I don’t share.

Bear Resting on Vent for AC on His Belly…

My baby boy got a bath today and he smells so good now! He is resting on the vent because we have the air conditioner on and he knows that it feels so good on his belly!

After his bath we were walking into the living room and I fell down hard on the floor. Hubby ran to help me, I was crying for a minute and then after I got my breath I started to laugh at the stupidity of how I felt! tee hee! I am so glad that I didn’t break anything!

Bear is so loved, can you tell? He has lots and lots of doggy toys! He definitely has his favorites too!

Thursday Smiles….

First of all, I am so glad to be done with work because the President is coming to our city. When that happens traffic gets jammed up downtown. I am so glad I am not down there to be in that!!!

This button on his desk was cute for a chuckle too! When we ask him for a “TDA” which means Turn Down Accepted, they can give you the day off without pay and it saves the company money. They will do that when there is enough people to cover your work.

Well sometimes they can’t and he pushes the “NO” button! too funny!!!!! My personal joke is “TDA – stands for Take Your Dead Ass to work”! tee hee! I am such a twisted sista!
