My hubby bought me this movie, he knows I like westerns!
It has an awesome cast, the actors who stood out for me is Sam Shepard, Eric Roberts, Randy Quaid, Donnie Wahlberg, Brad Rowe.

In the small town of Refuge, the Sheriff nor his deputy carry a sidearm. Cowboy legend meets the supernatural in this movie. I don’t want to give away the goods of this movie!

If you like westerns be sure to add this movie to your viewing pleasure! It rates high in my movie likes and loves!

What a Beautiful Day…..

We have a nice sunny, warm gorgeous day today! It was busy at work and I am glad it is done! When it gets so busy like that it makes you more tired. NicePassengerA while back this very nice man rode my train and he let me take his picture. I love the stuffed animals he has on his wheel chair. He is a very nice guy! It is awesome when you can meet people and make some friends even if you only get to say hi to them for five minutes.

Preparing Potatoes for Freezer….

PotatoesReady4FreezerI had a whole bag of russets that I wanted to prepare and put in the freezer for my future cooking, stocking the freezer! Peel and cut the potatoes, blanch in boiling water for about 4 to  5 minutes, immediately place in ice water bath for for 10 minutes to stop the cooking process.

Place in freezer bags and wrap in freezer paper and foil. Wahlah! Easy to pull out to make potatoes o’brien, or mashed potatoes etc!

Happy Anniversary Mt. St. Helens!

Mt_St_Helens_steaming_October_2004I remember watching Mt. St. Helens when it blew on May 18th, 1980 from our deck at home. A part of history I will never forget, and it shows how nature can remind us how small we are and can be taken from this world at any time.

I have been taking a break from crocheting and I have a bunny that is begging to get finished! Maybe I will work on him tomorrow!
