I have been very busy the last few days cooking and stocking up our freezer to make our meal making easier! Today I bought 3 whole chickens as they were on sale. Great for future meals.See isn’t this awesome??? I baked home made lasagna and placed individual servings in quart size bags, wrapped it in freezer paper then foil. I bought some bulk hamburger and browned it with some seasonings, let it cool, placed 1 1/2 pounds in large bags, packaged them up for future use. They can be thawed and used in tacos, spaghetti, manwich, or whatever! One step easier to a simple meal.

I bought a package of chicken breasts, simmered them in my stock pot, broke them up into chunks and placed each breast in individual bags for future meals. Can be used as sandwich meats etc.

Right now I have four loaves of banana bread baking in the oven and when they are done and cool, they too will go into the freezer.

Now hubby can go and get something out of there and thaw it and microwave a simple meal! I have done so much I can’t remember what all I have in there now but it is awesome! Next weekend I will be doing some more things to put in there too!
